Making (not so) Tough Decisions at Lollapalooza 2010
Written by Tony Merevick
Friday, 13 August 2010 19:31

Almost three quarters of a mile long from North to South, and about two blocks wide in some places, Lollapalooza 2010 left some festival-goers with harder decisions to make than usual. Every year, we all have to ask ourselves "Overpay for water, or overpay for beer?" or "Squeeze into the sweaty crowd butt-to-nut for the show, or watch from the shady sidelines?" This year, the biggest question for many was "Gaga or The Strokes?"

For the sixth straight year, Lollapalooza barfed its Lolla magic onto the beautiful Chicago lakefront greenery -- this time stretching an extra 35 acres to accommodate eight stages and more than 130 artists. The sheer size of the festival can make or break the Lolla experience if you don't approach it with the right strategy.
