Apparently ... yes, yes it did. According to a recent interview with actor Edward James Olmos (Admiral Odama in BSG for those of you who didn't already know), some of the cast members of BSG met with the UN, and based on some of the things they said, the UN decided to change its charter by taking out references to race. From now on, there will be no references to black, white, purple, yellow, brown, red, blue, green, etc. We are all just part of the human race -- nothing else matters.
Wow -- it took a frakking television show to finally get some common sense into people about race? Everyone should be BSG fans. So say we all!
Check out the video of the interview with Edward about it:

We could tell, just by host Ricky Gervais' opening monologue, that the 67th Golden Globes were going to be totally ACE this year. For the most part, we were right. We laughed. We gaped in shock. We threw stuff at the TV (sad, but true). We nodded off a couple of times.
Here's our recap of the best and worst moments of last night's ...
Well, last night's Super Bowl was as I personally predicted. It was a low-scoring, tight game ... until ... the Saints came marching in. In the fourth quarter, with Indy up 17 to 16, the Saints scored on a pass from Drew Brees to Jeremy Shockey. They then went for a two-point conversion. After it was called no ...

D'OH! Not again, we’re the longest running show on television? Wonder if television runs out, then what? That’s probably what Homer would say about this amazing fact. The 20th Television Season for the Simpsons is now on DVD and in stores, and I could hardly wait to get my hands on it. Devoid of commercials, this gem had me up for days on end just to see it all. I know that sounds a little ...
Emotional has been an overused adjective in trailers for motion pictures coming to theatres. But, as a description for The Boys Are Back, it’s the perfect choice. The film, inspired by a true story, is touching and inspirational. Settle back with your favorite person(s), plop the DVD into your player and enjoy a memorable film. Oh, you may want to set out a box of tissues, as this drama is a ...
I think Bruce Willis is probably the best all-around film star that has survived nearly three decades without a dud. And with Surrogates it’s a near miss. Just eking above average, the film survives with some awesome special effects and Willis’ creative performance. If you like science fiction that goes hyper realistic, then Surrogates should be on your DVD short ...
I am a family film lover at heart, and when they are produced well, like Tooth Fairy, I recommend them highly. The movie has a wonderful message for children who endeavor to realize their dreams and use their imagination. And although it gets a little silly, this film has a lot of good laughs, especially seeing The Rock in a ...
