One of these days, someone is going to have to make a movie about poor people in the hills of Virginia terrorized by yuppies. Sign me up if they ever do, because there are better things you can do with your money, such as throwing it out your window and hoping a poor person will pick it up, rather than buying or renting the direct-to-video sequel Wrong Turn 3: Left For Dead. This B-movie sequel to a Hollywood B-movie opens with a standard teens-in-the-woods-get-killed opening, and goes downhill from there. It's all here: the sexism (a topless woman gets an arrow shot through her breast and all of the women need the men to save them), hokey, tired special effects, make-up cliches (protruding eyeballs, poles through the mouth), and what's an abysmal movie without equally dreadful dialogue? "I'm a slut. Do you think I’m a slut," asks the topless chick before she's killed. A nice surprise or two would have made the overall experience more likable and compelling, in a similar manner to Jonathan Mostow's vastly superior Breakdown.
