Tomb Treasures come to Dallas |

The fanciful treasures of King Tut’s tomb are being exhibited at the Dallas Museum of Art after bringing a record-breaking number of patrons to the exhibition’s last five venues.
Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs came to Dallas, Texas as part of a three-part encore tour following engagements in the U.S. and London. In addition to the items shown in the original tour, the Dallas exhibition features four new never-before-seen artifacts: a pectoral necklace featuring solar and lunar emblems and a scarab; a bracelet with a scarab clasp; and two miniature coffins nested with one inside the other, which originally contained the remains of a baby who is believed to be one of King Tut's stillborn children.

Scion has brought together 11 talented Japanese artists to display their “nonsense” at Scion Installation L.A. Gallery in Culver City, Calif. this October.
In TOKYO NONSENSE, Ichiro Endo, Taro Izumi, Ai Kato (akaai madonna), Sachiko Kazama, Iichiro Tanaka, and the six-member ChimôPom will exhibit art based on the cultural connotation of the word “nonsense", which has been used throughout Japanese history to describe all things scandalous, inappropriate and rebellious.

The macaw on his shoulder and the way the newspaper seller transferred a sunflower seed from his hairy mouth to the parrot's beak made Serenity bring her Subaru to a full stop at the change of the light to yellow, when she could have raced through the red. She put down her window. She bellowed.
