wickeddead_torn_book.jpgDaphne, Anne, Shirley, and Mary are four little ghost girls trapped in an abandoned orphanage, passing the time by playing a game called “Bones", which will determine who will narrate that evening’s frightening tale. The four young spirits aren’t the only spooks living in the orphanage. The girls must also watch out for the evil Headmistress, who is quite ready to punish any of the girls by placing them in the horrifying “Red Room".

As the evening tale begins, 16 year-old Lindsay Morgan is on her way to Redlands Beach with her parents for a family vacation. Unhappy about being dragged along to the dirty beach with creepy locals instead of helping her best friend back home prepare for a party, Lindsay was inclined to accept the trip as a total loss, that is, until she notices the dark-haired, blue-eyed cutie named, Mark, at the beach house next door.

Newton Faulkner – Hand Built by Robots PDF Print E-mail

Image Picture a calm summer afternoon of waves rolling by at the beach. Now imagine the sun is waning and the backdrop of the world is a bright and vibrant collage of colors, and all the while there is new, clean and clear-cut music playing as friends dance around having fun.

Newton Faulkner encompasses all of this imagery with the crispness of a lost sound of music that is brought back in his latest album, Hand Built by Robots. His voice edgy, the music of acoustic guitar heavy, and the melodic beats get heads bobbing and feet tapping.

John, Paul, Tom & Ringo: The Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder PDF Print E-mail

tomorrowshow_tomsnyder_dvd.jpgBeatle fanatics pay attention. The last televised interview with John Lennon is now available on this two-disc DVD set, along with older archival interviews of Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

The night after John Lennon died in 1980, Tom Snyder announced that he was going to re-run an interview that he conducted with John Lennon. It lasted an hour and became one of the most requested interviews he ever did. It’s intriguing to watch as Lennon is seen as laid back, struggling to stay in the US and oddly comfortable — even humble — about his surroundings.

At the recent Palm Beach International Film Festival, a very good drama was screened called Goodbye Baby. Since the film is planned in several festivals around the United States, and it is a very good movie, I decided to give heads up to those that may get the film in their area. It’s wonderfully acted and an engrossing story.

The film tells the story of Melissa Brooks (Evangelista), an attractive High School graduate who moves to New York where she feels she can earn money to pay for college. With her older brother Robbie (Sandomire) and his boyfriend Miller (Manera) already living together in a large apartment in SoHo, moving in with them solves rent problems.
