Interpol has long been one of the greatest bands to emerge out of New York's post-punk, indie-rock scene. Musically, they are clean, crisp, and concise with the lines they draw. Their newest album is a dark assembly of the dramatic sound that has made them so formidable over the years. With Our Love To Admire, Interpol has taken all the best of their good intentions and rolled them right up with the rest of everyone else's mal-content and indecision to create a startlingly beautiful album.

Take one seven-part book series with unprecedented world-wide popularity, a legion of protective child-like fans, and cynical, scrutinizing media with impossibly high expectations...add to this a 766 page original text, and the need to appease fans of the novel while ensuring the film remains accessible to those unfamiliar with the original text. Now, make a movie.

Sound impossible? Well, by every right it should be, but happily for fans across the globe, the latest Harry Potter installment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, does manage to live up to (most of) the hype.

If you had to guess the ages of the members that make up the band Back Door Slam just by listening to their new album, you're guess would probably be wrong. The up and coming band executes the type of blues that only the legends seemed capable of before now. Honestly, I feel blessed to have discovered the young, yet very soulful, trio. So have you made your guess? Back Door Slam is composed of three teenage (that's right) boys from Isle of Man, U.K.
