This soulful, vocal/piano-driven record oozes cool and
sensuality, like the old jazz clubs from the 40s that are only still
evident in old black and white pictures. Close your eyes and you just might
smell the smoke, taste the martini and see the men in dapper suits escorting
young ladies. Anjani Thomas's voice echoes over the instruments ever-so-smoothly, gliding past the occasional backup singer. Blue Alert is a beautiful new jazz album sure to entice and
