Rated: R
Written: Dave Attell
Directed: Beth McCarthy
What would you get if you took a well aged Dennis Leary, added several heaping shots of Dennis Miller, along with a generous twist of Richard Pryor, then dumped all of the contents into a blender? Why...you'd get the Dave Attell drink!
The alcoholic beverage would be a fitting metaphor for this comedian. Actor/comedian/writer Dave Attell has a DVD out entitled, Dave Attell Captain Miserable, in which he shocks his audience right from their being by showing just how skilled he is at being crude, cynical, smart and sarcastic.

Rated: PG-13
Starring: Matt Damon and Joan Allen
Directed by: Paul Greengrass
Bone-crunchingly fast-paced and action-packed, the plot of Bourne Ultimatum keeps viewers enraptured until the very last scene ends. Go along for the ride of Bourne's life and decipher the clues along with him as he tries to piece together his past.
For those unaware of the Bourne saga, let me give a recap. Jason Bourne is considered a rogue agent by the Treadstone Project, which is part of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. He can't remember his past, not even his own name. It is through these films that we watch Matt Damon's character piece together a puzzle so large, it takes a trilogy to comprise all the pieces. So who is Jason Bourne, really?

Artist: Paper Rival
Album: Paper Rival EP
Site: Official
Paper Rival is an indie band hailing from Nashville, Tennessee. The band just released their self-titled debut EP on Photo Finish Records. This is the band's second EP, after the 2005 release of The Thieves, which was only sold at live shows. Both EPs can now be purchased on iTunes.
Although Paper Rival does not bring any remarkably novel sound to the indie music world, they still manage to hold their own in this increasingly popular genre. This five-song EP is decorated with simple vocals and complex, poetic lyrics, typical characteristics of most indie bands.

Rated: PG-13
Starring: Nicole Kidman, Dakota Blue Richards, Daniel Craig, Eva Green, Sam Elliott, Ian McKellen, Freddie Highmore
Director: Chris Weitz
The Golden Compass has enough energy to light up the world, and probably
will. The film shines for the young and
is intriguing enough for their parents.
Although it"s not much on storyline in this installment, let"s hope the
filmmakers have more for us the next time.
