30 Days of Night may not have a huge plot, but it sure grabbed my attention and kept me glued to the screen. It"s a veritable white-knuckled horror flick, involving a lot of vampire attacks with gruesome results.

This is the second film for Casey this year, and in both he gives a stellar performance. Gone Baby Gone holds you hostage from the very beginning, all the way to its twisted ending. If you love crime dramas as I do, this flick really entertains.

The quirky The Darjeeling Limited lives up to Wes Anderson"s totally off-the-wall filmmaking career. If you are into Anderson flicks (like Rushmore, The Life Aquatic and The Royal Tenenbaums) then you won"t want to miss this amazing film. I enjoyed the film because it was out of the ordinary and has a great message.

I was not impressed with Things We Lost in the Fire. The main actors are not at their usual best, and it reminded me of a low budget Indie flick. Geared more for women, this film strikes an ominous chord with lessons to learn.

As the title of the third album from this Dublin indie rock group suggests, Teenager is a collection of songs filled with the joys and sorrows of youth. Released first on July 22 in Ireland, its sound is definitely fitting of summertime, rather than the October date it comes out on the United States.
