headlesshorseman_scifi.jpg Halloween brings about many themed movies, television specials and community-driven events. Sci Fi has its own Headless Horseman airing this Saturday.

This rendition is about a group of teens who get lost on their way to a Halloween party and end up in a backwoods town where the locals want to sacrifice them to the Headless Horseman, a beast that preys on the town every seven years, taking seven victims.

glennclose_damages.jpgThis week marks the conclusion of season one for Glenn Close's latest project, Damages.

Close plays Patty Hewes, one of New York's top litigators, who fights to bring justice to the very powerful, yet crooked CEO, Arthur Frobisher (Danson). This show's thrill factor is intensified as Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) is taken on an eerie adventure while working under the watchful eye of Hewes.

This latest television eruption is both engaging and mysterious. It brings about the very mind-game twists that make big-time drama so alluring and addictive, with Close at its core.

Executive Producer Peter Hume on Flash Gordon Print E-mail

flash_gordongroupshot.jpg Sci Fi's newest television series, Flash Gordon, has finally hit the half-way mark in its first season.

Since the show's strong opening, Flash has seen its ups and downs in the ratings (thanks in part to baseball), but the viewership of the series has definitely been growing and getting stronger—good news to fans of the show recently scared by cancellation rumors (totally untrue by the way).

So far this season, we have been introduced to Flash, his circle of friends and enemies. We have joined him in his quest every week to find his father, each episode shedding more and more light on the individual character stories, revealing intricacies not evident in the pilot. For certain, this storyline gets better and better every week. According to Hume, it is only going to outdo itself with each upcoming show.

Autumn Reeser - Who's Afraid of the Big Bad...Werewolf? Print E-mail
Written by Jenna Bensoussan
Saturday, 20 October 2007

autumnreeser07.jpgGetting married is hard enough, without having to worry about your fiancée hiding something from you. Autumn Reeser's character Julia has to deal with the secret of all secrets once she finds out her hubby-to-be is really a werewolf!

Just in time for Halloween, Nature of the Beast hits the ABC Family channel this coming Sunday, October 21. Why is this show so great? Reeser says, "It's a fun show to watch this time of year because the werewolf story makes it perfect Halloween fare, but the comedic tone means the whole family can watch it, and you don't have to worry about your children seeing something they shouldn't!"

Autumn has done a bunch of work dealing with otherworldly themes lately (you may remember her from the O.C.). Coincidence? "I call it 'the Summer of the Supernatural!! It was just a coincidence, and I actually took each project for a different reason: Nature of the Beast allowed me to play my first romantic lead in a film, Ghost Whisperer let me try my hand at the horror genre, and I was so excited to be a part of Lost Boys 2 because I got to explore the vampire lore, and to be a part of such a cult hit," explains Reeser.
