Soular, the quartet from Albuquerque, New Mexico, is gaining much
popularity within the same genre as The Fray, U2 and Zero Seven. Not
only are they good enough to be likened to their inspirations, but
they're proving to be a very hard-working lot.
Since they officially
began as a band in 2002, it seems that there hasn't been a time that
they haven't been out on the road. With a new album, an abundance of
press coverage, and some invaluable opportunities to play with other
esteemed artists of the moment, they are finally starting to reap the
benefits of all this hard work.

Daniel Radcliffe has been well known for his role in the popular magical series, Harry Potter, as well as the recently acclaimed West End play, Equus. Now he takes on yet another orphaned character in the forthcoming drama, December Boys.
With the movie only weeks away, it is time to start the first round of Q&As with Mr. Radcliffe about the film. I first talked to him about the production exclusively last July. In this Q&A he talks to us about the story behind December Boys, why he chose this film, the cast and crew, the strangeness of romantic scenes, the differences with high and low budget movie-making, and much more!

When music is so good it gets under your skin, it invariably
makes you want to know more—what makes an aspiring author teach herself to
play the piano? What is at the root of all these rich, emotive ballads?
While intrigue will
invariably heighten appeal, the reality can be somewhat of a letdown. The
inspiration and creativity behind a seemingly complex piece of music is often unsatisfactorily
simple. Luckily for fans of A Fine Frenzy, the answers do not disappoint! After
the release of their stunning debut album One
Cell in the Sea, ACED Magazine was lucky enough to catch up with the voice
behind A Fine Frenzy, the engaging and highly talented Alison Sudol.

Life on the road can be exciting and exhausting, demanding and fulfilling, crazy and boring; all at the same time. For the Fratellis, one of the most criminally talented indie-rock bands to emerge out of the UK in the last year, life on the road can make you down right loopy. It can also be a true test to your stamina.
Traveling the world - hopping from the UK to the US, with a few pit stops in between, and then back again - for months that stretch on into infinity was both a blessing and a curse for the gents who cheekily confess to needing a good break, some counseling and the perfect smoothie.
ACED recently sat down with the band and put them in the hot seat, asking the hard questions about their staggering success and how life was treating them now that they're the biggest thing since sliced bread....and the Arctic Monkeys. You're just going to love the answers we got.
