Oh woe is you—Mr. or Miss Singlepants on Valentine's Day...oh the non-humanity. Done feeling sorry for yourself yet? No? Think of all the pounds you won't be putting on tomorrow...that alone should be sweet to your ears. No?

Oh...what are we going to do with you...I know! Lets make a list of things you should absolutely NOT do to further depress yourself. Ready? Here we go...

Now that Valentine's Day is approaching we seem to see nothing but a smorgasbord of sweets everywhere we go. They come from thankful customers or colleagues at the workplace, generous friends and loving families; and let's not forget the countless kiosks of goodies offered throughout the malls and plazas.

Who can resist the chocolates, cookies, candy hearts and, ahhh, the sugar-coated peeps. As tempting and tantalizing as they may all be, inside many of those little innocent looking goodies is a culprit. A danger and a menace to society. It is SUGAR.

Music Is Communication. As a musician, ultimately what you are striving for is that communal feeling with your audience. You want them to hear you, feel you, see you, and yeah Tommy, touch you. And vice versa. In today's faster-than-the-speed-of-DSL world, this can happen literally in an instant, which is exciting. However, in making musicians more accessible than ever, technology has also left us more vulnerable.

For example. How was somebody gonna get a letter or note of any kind to Robert Plant back in '76? Tuck it in the bell bottoms of a willing underage groupie? Pulley it 14 flights up the TV cord to the balcony of his room at the Riot House? In ‘08, there are 20 ways that make it easy for anyone to get their message across, what with e-mail, IM, text, YouTube, and everyone having access to some kind of camera, phone, video, etc.

Heath Ledger is a talented actor and a memorable man of character. He is well known for his tremendous portrayals of personae within a wide range of production genres over the years.

He began his career as Peter Pan when he was 10 years-old, followed by various independent films until he moved to LA and co-starred in his first break-out feature, 10 Things I Hate About You.

Although there are many articles out there that are now capitalizing on the circumstances of his quietus yesterday, ACED will not be focusing on the details of that, but rather on the memories of his journey that has made such a difference in so many people's lives.
