In Barry’s world, most bees look forward to doing the same thing day in and day out for the rest of their lives. It’s as if there is nothing more to life than working until your dead. But for Barry, that just doesn’t seem like enough. He desires to see the world outside of the hive, before he settles into the mundane.

When challenged by a few pollen jocks to step outside of the box, he flies like a moth to a flame. What he finds is a new friendship, and his purpose in life. His campaign for change, completely metamorphosizes the bee world and inadvertently affects everyone else.

Can he admit his wrongs and make a change for the better, or will the world suffer as a result of one bee’s justice crusade?

The star-filled cast, with Jerry Seinfeld as Barry and Renee Zellweger as Vanessa, lends a comedic twist to a traditional family movie. And with bonus features, including DVD-Rom Dreamworks activities, this is a film for everyone.
