Watch out for Ferras, an upcoming singer who seems to be going far. He'll be on MTV's TRL on March 17, and on CBS's The Early Show on March 29. Yahoo! Music has them on Who's Next, and that performance will air March19.
Ferras' lead single "Hollywood's Not America" is from his debut album Aliens & Rainbows. "Hollywood's Not America" is the highest debut hit for a career-opening single by a solo male artist since John Mayer in 2002. That stat gives Ferras a bright looking future.
Ferras' album Aliens & Rainbows is available now through iTunes. To get the actual CD, you'll have to wait until April 1.
Ferras' lead single "Hollywood's Not America" has just been upped to Medium rotation at VH1, after only been on air for a week! The single's been added to MTV Hits, Nickelodeon's The N, Music Choice and LOGO's new music show, New Now Next.
Ferras' new hit has also been a USA Today "pick of the week," used by Fox's American Idol for its Hollywood Week episodes, and is WindowsMedia.com's "Artist of the Month" for April. On April 1, Ferras will host an hour of his favorite videos on MTV Hits' Hitlist.
VH1.com's "The Leak" will stream Aliens & Rainbows a week before its street release.
