{mosgoogle right} DVD Features:
Critique: Warner Independent Pictures' 2006 biopic of author Truman Capote packed everything but a hefty sum at the box office. Infamous is boiling over with name talent—Sandra Bullock, Toby Jones, Jeff Daniels...for some reason that just wasn't enough to get people to the show during its theatrical release. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that another movie about Capote had just recently been released. You know...Capote. Admittedly, I was one of those people that decided not to go see this one. Why see another movie about the same exact thing? The answer - because this is a very well done production with great performances. It gives a little more information about Capote which fills in some gaps left by its predecessor the year before, and it illustrates other things about Capote from a different perspective. If you didn't manage to catch this one at the box office (and from the figures I would guess most of you didn't) you really should give this one a go. It is just as enjoyable as Capote, with a shameless flair, much like the "infamous" author and the two convicted killers the story is centered around.
