Growing up in a small southern town in Illinois, Ferras never felt he had achieved his full potential. He felt something was missing from his life. After moving to Southern California, Ferras found the missing piece to his life -- music. He eventually got busy working on his first album.
Ferras voices emotions that everyone feels, but are sometimes afraid to say, in all of his songs throughout his debut album Aliens & Rainbows.

Right off the bat, the first track is a tap-toeing song that gives way to a unique blend of vocals and instrumentals. I know many artists have a unique quality to them, but Ferras really sticks out. His voice is smooth; all songs have a distinct sound, while being arranged in such a way that blends all of the tracks together to form a great listen that is Aliens & Rainbows.
One song that particularly struck me was "Soul Rock". The flow of background instrumentals keeps a steady beat that gets me moving with the music. His lyrics are a metaphor for that special someone who keeps monsters at bay and everything afloat in the tumultuous world of life. Ferras' assimilation of the different facets of music, all in this 12-track album, is astounding for a new and upcoming artist of twenty five. He pulls it off without seeming to try.
