The album was recorded at the Sound Factory studios in Los Angeles, engineered by Ryan Freeland and mastered by Gavin Lurssen. Aimee Mann will begin touring on June 2nd, playing at Largo in Los Angeles. A far cry from her days as lead vocalist for the band Til Tuesday, Grammy-winning and Academy Award-nominated musician Aimee Mann’s upcoming CD, @#%&! Smilers, is a successful mix of easy listening rhythms and poetic lyrics, coming together to create music that will reverberate warmly in the heart and mind of any listener. Songs such as “Freeway”, “Borrowing Time”, “It’s Over” and “Medicine Wheel” make this CD a truly pleasurable way to spend an hour with one’s own imagination. Aimee’s songs have a story quality to them, and will please even the most discriminate literary taste. Gem of the Album: Medicine Wheel
