Indiana Jones Adventure DVD Set
Rated: PG
This box set contains Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

In The Lost Ark, archaeologist and university professor Indiana Jones must retrieve the mythic Lost Ark of the Covenant before it gets into the hands of Adolf Hitler, who plans on using its power to guarantee his global conquest. In The Temple Of Doom Indiana finds himself on a new adventure trekking across Asia with a gold-digging woman and a young child to rescue a village's missing children and find a magic stone. Along the way he must contend with an evil cult. In The Last Crusade, Dr. Jones returns. Teaming up with his father, he sets out to try and find the Holy Grail. Once again the Nazis are after the same prize and try to foil Indiana's plans.

Critique:

It is almost time for the latest Indy saga to come to the big screen, and what better time to re-release a DVD set of the previous three? All of the films in this collection are worth the purchase on their own if you do not have them yet. Harrison Ford is a true talent that helped make the action-adventure genre what it is today. Each filmic creation is a true classic masterpiece with the perfect combination of humor, adventure, action and interesting characters. "X" definitely marks the spot on these great productions!

Not only do you get the movies, you get all-new features on each of the discs, which keep you entertained long after each movie ends. If you do not already own these films I highly recommend this set. If you do own DVDs for each of these films, however, I would suggest waiting for the set containing all four films (once Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull comes to DVD), as I am sure these new featurettes will make their way to that set as well.
