Orlando band, From First to Last, presents their third studio album in this self-titled collection. After troubles with band members and labels, the group has emerged again onto the rock/post-hardcore scene, stronger than before.
Straight off, this album is hardly the most original one you could find (nor the least, mind you). The lyrics, vocals, and musicianship are certainly good, but not outstandingly noteworthy.
That being said, From First to Last is still enjoyable. All
songs except the last, "In Memorium In Advance", are loud and dynamic
-- wonderful for an upbeat lift, or something to sing and scream along
to. Overall, a good, fun collection, with a tinge of mediocrity.
