That may be the reason we had to wait for their second release Can’t Love, Cant Hurt, but we won’t hold it over them. This album is even better than the first. It is such a relief to listen to a CD when you may be familiar with one or two songs of a band. Like Stars and Boulevards, every track is a calming feast for the senses. Their ambient sound is an instant relaxant. The harmonies can bring a smile to the face and allow one to just sit back and enjoy. Throughout the album is a smooth sound of tranquility and heartfelt emotions. After listening to Can’t Love, Can’t Hurt, I can say it was definitely worth the wait.

It has been three years since the debut album All the Stars and Boulevards by Augustana. “Boston” became a huge hit and put Augustana on the map. Their soothing vocals and smooth melodies may have come from their home base San Diego, California. What could be better than practicing with your band near those sandy beaches and that fantastic weather?
