The young quartet will also be playing a handful of shows this summer in Pittsburgh and New York's Mercury Lounge. The EP will be released on May 20th. Although the sound itself seems slightly generic, The Takeover UK are nonetheless talented. The band incorporates some different elements in their punk and pop sound that is reminiscent of more classic popular music, like The Beatles and Bon Jovi. The music is incredibly upbeat, similar to pop music in the 1960s and 70s. The lyrics are relatable to young audiences and the listeners will not have to leave the album wondering what in the world the band was singing about. Of the five tracks on this EP, one particular track that stood out was "Don't Wait Up". The vocals in this song were excellent and might possibly make one think of a young John Lennon.

Pittsburgh band, The Takeover UK, is releasing their debut EP, titled It's All Happening. The band now has a chance to show off their catchy sound, which was influenced by music going as far back as the 1920s.
