Today, Mind of Mencia returns in its fourth season on Comedy Central. The humor on this show primarily comes from its star, Carlos Mencia's eccentric outlook of the world and the way in which it operates. Mencia humorously tackles controversial and political issues relevant to today's world, like the upcoming election and the recession. Like the past seasons, Mind of Mencia retains its usual monologues, street interviews, and audience participation. However, season four introduces an all-new animated portion, based on actual events from Mencia's own childhood. Comedy Central's website has also launched all-new features starring Carlos Mencia and the Mind of Mencia crew. Weekly videos called "Between the Breaks" will be posted and viewers will get the chance to witness what goes on in between the commercial breaks. Mind of Mencia writers will be blogging, as well as posting about exclusive previews of the show. A new interactive game titled "Mencia Madness 3" is brand new to the Comedy Central's site, where players must try to wreck Mencia's thoughts before he is able to speak them.Carlos Mencia is currently doing a 60-city U.S. tour, "Carlos Mencia: At Close Range". Ticket information can be found at the Comedy Central website .
Season four of "Mind of Mencia" premiers on Comedy Central tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET. |
