Switches is a U.K. band whose songs only get better when they are played live.
This was obvious during the performance at Fort Lauderdale's Revolution.
On the Nylon 2008 Summer Tour with The Virgins, Be Your Own Pet and She Wants Revenge, Switches proved that they could hold their own, not to mention the attention of the crowd.
Their sound and energy on stage was infectious.
Playing songs from their new album Lay Down the Law ,such as the track by the same title, as well as songs from their previous release, Drama Queen, a commentary about some members of the entertainment world who, for a lack of a better expression, are full of themselves, was nothing less than riveting.
The combination of their stage presence and powerpop-indie sound had the audience cheering for more.
This is definitely a band worth following.
