From episode to episode I found myself laughing at every situation the three men got into, Two and a Half Men is that funny.
The comedy brings adult laughter to another level without being overly risqué.
I loved the chemistry between the entire cast.
Carefree bachelor Charlie Harper (Sheen) lives with his fussy chiropractor brother Alan (Cryer), and Alan's coming-of-age son Jake (Jones), but not by choice. Alan moved in with Charlie after he spit from his wife Judith (Hinkle), who he continues to date along with a 22 year-old charmer. With Jake on board during the weekends things get quite complicated since the ‘bachelors' are always involved with various women, not to mention the sex-starved Rose who readily stalks Charlie. Adding to the comedic situation, Berta, the housemaid, keeps giving advice that makes things even more complicated. The show writers bring one laugh after another and the cast delivers them with ease. Always upbeat, creative and funny, Two and a Half Men is a great show to watch, and on DVD it's commercial free and continuous. The show was nominated for seven Emmy Awards including: Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor and Outstanding Supporting Actor. With Two and a Half Men, you needn't have seen either season one or two to enjoy all the fun of this mismatched trio. I caught on to the story pretty quickly, with the characters doing so many funny things that I was easily consumed in the comedic dialogue. The third complete season with 24 episodes is now available on DVD. Not all TV show DVD's have special added features, but in this Two and a Half Men set there are two all new behind-the-scenes featurettes, some deleted scenes and a gag reel. FINAL ANALYSIS: Two and a Half Men is an offbeat, creative comedy series that's very addictive.
