Pennsylvania's Waiting For Cadence has released their debut EP, Star of all Stars, which showcases their sound in four new tracks. The original three members of the band, Joe (of Leisure Van, Skankin' Buvas), Joel (of East Avenue) and Chris (of Riveredge), are now joined by promising new members, Melissa and Dan.

Each member of this young indie-pop quintent bring in their own individual musical influences, like Death Cab for Cutie, to form the band's unique sound. Two of the four songs from Star of all Stars, "Bright Shades of Dim", and "Just One Day", are available for free download on the band's MySpace.

Star of all Stars is both somber and joyful. The more memorable song on the EP is "Bright Shades of Dim", which is one of the tracks available on Waiting For Cadence's MySpace page. The five members of the band are very young and it shows through their music; all of the songs have a youthful feel without seeming juvenile.
