The sound of L.P. was new to me and the thought of it being heavy rock was unappealing, however after listening to the first ten seconds of the song "Good With You", I was hooked. The genre of the album is more of smooth rock/pop than heavy rock. I was surprised by how good I felt after listening to the album, and had to listen to it again. I soon found that my favorites off the preview album were the first and last tracks, although all of songs were good to listen to. I was impressed by how well the instrumental background was put together, the music complemented the words extremely well. I feel the album follows a particular theme of love and hate. I really couldn't get enough of this brilliant new sound. I predict this musical ensemble will fly off the shelves once it hits stores!Although the full album isn't out for a few months, you can currently purchase the fantastic first track, "Good With You" from the iTunes Store (US Residents Only). New York City's much buzzed about songstress L.P. recently released the first single "Good With You" off of her soon-to-be-named, and highly anticipated, record set to hit in early 2009 via SoBe Entertainment. L.P. was featured as Clear Channel's Artist to Watch for their NEW! program in June and the single has quickly gained traction in the AAA format.
