Everyone is getting ready for this year's MTV Video Music Awards, and they'll get their fix September 7 at 9 p.m. ET. Hosted by comedian/actor Russell Brand, there are sure to be a few laughs while watching. Viewers will be treated to show-stopping performances by Lil Wayne, the Jonas Brothers, Kid Rock, Pink, Rihanna and Paramore.
Confirmed presenters for the award show include Michael Phelps, Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Scarlett Johansson, the High School Musical 3 Cast, Ciara, and the Twilight cast. DJ AM and Travis Barker are mixing live drum beats to scratched records throughout the show. They are collaborating with Katy Perry, T-Pain, Lupe Fiasco, and The Ting Tings among others who will all celebrate new and past hits to celebrate the past 25 years of music.
