Harmony! Right from the start, you will hear a harmony from The Summer Obsession that will amaze you. This Is Where You Belong will totally capture you from the beginning, and the album will continue to enthrall you with this band's style of music. There are some “kick-ass” bass and drums, along with an electronic sound and piano chords. The Summer Obsession has offered up one great album that is very pleasing from start to finish.
The 3rd track rocks out with a techno flavor. “Never Coming Back” is splendid. The escape bit is done in a way that makes it sound like a celebration. The song delves into the thinking—why return to reality when reality is nothing more than an illusion.

Both “Down For Whatever” and “I Miss You" showcase this band's talent through and through. The strong lyrics, with vocals that are magical and backed by keyboard, bass, guitar, and drums, will have you beside yourself. Not only do they flow easily between varying tempos and rhythms but the electronic touches placed here and there are awesome.

Track 12 demonstrates the range and depth of talent that is The Summer Obsession. More of a ballad, “Where You Belong” illustrates the group's vocals with a simplistic offering from the bassist, pianist, and drummer. Enjoy this anthem-type ballad. It helps reinforce what is happening now, and communicates that where you are is exactly where you should be.

This Is Where You Belong is one of those albums that needs to be in your music library. There is something for everyone on this album and every song is deserving of high praise. The Summer Obsession has created an outstanding album for their listeners.
