Critique: This collection of DVDs features America's most lovable redhead on film. Make no mistake, this is not I Love Lucy, which made Lucille Ball a household name. However, true Lucille Ball fans will value this collection, as it demonstrates her roots in musical comedy, and features some of the best comedians of the time - including Red Skelton and Bob Hope. True classic movie fans also will recognize Maureen O'Hara, who starred in beloved classics, such as Miracle on 34th Street with Natalie Wood, McClintock with John Wayne, and The Parent Trap with Hayley Mills. |
