On August 21, the truly unique rockers, Monte Negro, will release their first bilingual album, Cicatrix. The band has been busy touring in Puerto Rico and is returning to the States for the Latin American Music Conference in New York, as well as the Chivas U.S.A. Major League Soccer Game in their home town of Los Angeles. After these two amazing events, the band will travel to Puerto Rico to join Gwen Stefani on her Sweet Escape tour. Drawing their inspiration from bands like The Cure and the Sex Pistols, Monte Negro adds their own twist with Spanish vocals and a more modern energy. But don"t take my word for it—the band"s string of recent accomplishments also includes the release of two new music videos for their songs "The Part of Me You"ve Thrown Away” and "Me Duele no Estar Junto A Ti". Experience the album’s sound before its release by viewing the videos at YouTube.
You can learn more about the band by visiting their Official Website or their MySpace. |
