Children"s author Carole Marsh has announced that she will be selecting an entire classroom and their teacher to star as the characters in her next mystery novel, "The Creepy Crawly Classroom Mystery”. Marsh"s books have always featured "real kids” and "real locations” but now she"s creating a bigger incentive for kids to read. Her selection will be based upon essays written by the class. The essays should provide the most creative explanation of why the students and their teacher would be the best candidates for a mystery novel. The winner will be announced by the end of this year and the final book will be published nation-wide in the spring of 2008. Not only will the winning classroom get to enjoy stardom, they’ll also receive a visit from the author herself and a set of Carole Marsh Mysteries. Click here for official contest rules. |
