We hear more and more about Global Warming and the need to be eco-friendly. The Echo Project Green Music & Arts Festival is raising awareness of this world-wide issue. This is a three-day festival that has multi-stage camping over 350-acres.
The Echo Project is an annual event that will be held October 12-14 this year in Atlanta, Georgia. The premise of the Echo Project is to raise the consciousness of how much entertainment events cost our environment in the hopes of bringing about a revolution in the way entertainers use energy that keeps their concerts running—this includes ways of decreasing carbon emissions, power consumption and creation, using alternative energy sources and waste management, etc.
The Echo Project has a diversity of singers that range from hip-hop to rock. The first batch of performers will include The Killers, Phil and Friends, Stephen Marley, The Roots, Cypress Hill, Polyphonic Spree, RJD2 and many more.
The three-day tickets begin at $145 and can be purchased online at www.the-echoproject.com or by phone at 1-800-594-TIXX (8499).
