On August 17th, the world will see Leonardo DiCaprio play a role he has never played before. He speaks a gripping story, one that grabs your heart just as sure as you are breathing air. The 11^th Hour is a documentary that looks at the global environment. Not only does this film tell of how horribly our Earth is suffering, the film also gives viable solutions to help bring our planet back into equilibrium.

This film makes you think about what you do...really think. Even the minor everyday things, each of those little things, can add up to something quite substantial.

Leonardo DiCaprio produced and narrated the 11^th Hour, speaking the hard truth that we as human beings have to face. This film's objective is to make people examine the way things are today, and to motivate them to take action for a better tomorrow.

A person may question how one single individual can stop this epidemic, but that is not the question that person needs to ask—that person needs to ask why. Why am I buying this if it's not healthy for me? Why am I allowing myself to pollute my environment with toxins that do not need to be emitted? Why is it that, if all of us can make a difference, more people are not joining in to save our planet and the lives that are being lived on it?

"Life creates conditions that is conducive to life." Humans are a part of life and humans want to live. This documentary shows us how we can stop walking down the path we are on and take another fork in the road, continuing to live, not only for our lives, but for the lives of generations to come.
