Directed by: Jon Chu

Do you think you can dance? And no, this is not a review of Fox's T.V. show. Touchstone Pictures is doing a sequel to the film Step Up and wants YOU to be a part of the action. The sequel Step Up 2:The Streets will be released on February 14, 2008 but if you want in on the action, you have to take action now.

So you think you've got what it takes to be a dancer in this film? Go to the movie's MySpace and submit a demo track of yourself or group dancing by August 10th and you may be on your way to the shoot. A group of finalists will be hand-picked by the filmmaking team, including director Jon Chu, lead actors Robert Hoffman and Briana Evigan; plus the choreographers for Step Up 2:The Streets.

If you do not make it onto the set, you still have a chance at being seen. A number of dance videos submitted will make it to the film's end credits.

If you can't make the demo in time, no worries. In October another contest will take place, but this one is for singing abilities not dancing abilities. Record yourself singing a song from the film's soundtrack and it could be you singing alongside multi-platinum artists!

Sick! I'm entering this contest. I'll make it rain out there. I actually really
enjoyed the first Step Up, those cats can move. The soundtrack for Step Up 2 The
Streets looks to have some nasty tracks on it, O I'm going to have to check this
one out.
"A number of dance videos submitted will make it to the film's
end credits." This is cool, so if I don't make the film cut they could show
it at thend AND have some pretty sweet DVD extras featuring P-Mick-C!
