Mega Snake on Sci Fi Saturday Print E-mail
News Briefs - Television

megasnake_photo.jpg Sci Fi is teeming with many upcoming original movies and television shows in the next few months. Mega Snake, starring Stargate SG-1's Michael Shanks, is one of them—airing this Saturday at 9 p.m. EST.

Synopsis: A tiny supernatural serpent grows to gargantuan size and terrorizes a small town. As the death toll grows, it"s up to a paramedic who is afraid of snakes (Shanks) to save the day. Mega Snake features Feedback, the Season one winner of Who Wants to be a Superhero?.

There are only three rules: Never feed it anything alive. Never fear it. And most importantly, never take it out of the jar.

Mega Snake utilizes a slithering, hungry set of rules similar to the recipe used in the hit movie Gremlins—only this enchanted beast is not cute or cuddly. A coiling menace, with its insatiable desire to suck down humans, dogs, chickens and anything else with a pulse, the supernatural serpent makes for an entertaining Saturday fright.

Watch some clips from the show on the Official Sci Fi website.
