Especially for a debut, this Nashville group shows off a tight, and well put together album right off the bat - clean rhythms, undeniable energy, and perfect lyrics to top it off. Honest and feel-good, what more is there to ask for?

Luna Halo already knows the secrets to catchy songs that make people jump up and down. Song after song, they all inspire air guitar playing and singing along with windows down. Even though it's rock, the album gives more of a dance music feel in some of the tracks, with steady, defined beats and a sense of happiness and hopefulness.

"Kings and Queens", the opening track, is the perfect start to the album. It hooks you from the beginning, then delivers an explosive chorus: C'mon, c'mon / I think you're so special / What would it take for me to get to you? / I love the way you walk and the way you talk to me / You talk to me / C'mon, c'mon / 'Cause I'm all about it / Lets take a chance / Can't wait any longer / We could be the envy of the Kings and Queens / The Kings and Queens.

Other highlights include "Medicate", a classic tale of an addiction (fitting for many different scenarios), "On My Way", with contagious energy and hopefulness, "The Fool", with enormous amounts of catchiness and strong guitar leads, and "English Boys", an account of a broken relationship, made unique by the first line of the chorus: Are the English boys really that much better?

Although the guitar riffs aren't as spectacular as some, they do justice to the lyrics and steady rhythms, raising energy and providing dynamic and powerful harmonies. Drums are strong in the background also, keeping consistency throughout the album.

For their first full-length CD, Luna Halo has presented a collection of songs with more power and finesse than many bands can muster throughout their entire career—with future potential included.
