Matchbox 20
The band came into this project looking to provide a greatest hits album, and one last song or twohaving an entirely new album to share with the world was not exactly what they intendedbut, nevertheless (and luckily for us), Exile on Mainstream gives us the best of both worldssix new songs and some of their greatest hits. All of the group members wrote the songs together, and at the same time. To some this might not seem like a big deal, but with Rob Thomas being the main man doing it for most of the last three albums, it's great that everyone is trying something a little different. Each song has a beat of its own that keeps you tapping your foot and itching to hear the next track. Disc one showcases the band's six new songs. With this, there is no doubt as to why people are still asking for more. Disc two has eleven of their best hitswhy people liked them in the first place. These two discs merge together and form Exile on Mainstream, a sure hit for Matchbox 20 fans old and new alike! |
