Is there any wonder how the first season of the new Dr. Who quickly became BBC Video's best selling Doctor Who release of all time in the US? It has far surpassed the original series, first aired back in 1963. The second season is even better (and I didn't think that was possible), voted best drama series on BBC for 2006. One can only wonder how they will balance out the series without Rose Tyler in the coming 3rd season this spring.
As with the previous series one DVD release, the production crew has spoiled fans once again with the fantastic additional DVD: Doctor Who Confidential. Not only will you enjoy watching the shows, you will feel like you are part of the production with this special bursting-at-the-seams set of extras. This DVD ensemble makes other television collections look shameful in comparison. I, for one, can't wait to see what they have to offer in their upcoming third series. No Dr. Who fan should be without the second season DVD collection - not if they are a "real" fan!
