And what an imagination! Viewers are transported to Discworld, a parallel universe, floating throughout space, perched on top of four elephants standing on the shell of a giant turtle. This parallel universe is populated with humans just like here on earth...well...almost. Tis the night before Hogswatch, and all through the land, the Hogfather delivers presents to children. It's the mid-winter festival in the medieval melting pot of Ankh-Morpork. What could possibly go wrong? How about Hogfather getting kidnapped by a controlling group of villains: the Auditors. Unless the Auditors are stopped, the Hogswatch tradition could be lost forever! The tale is interwoven with everything that makes up a good story. It is funny, horrifying, magical, wicked, menacing, and incredibly witty. The four-hour miniseries swept through the UK, and now it is reaching over to the United States, just in time for the holiday season, airing on ION Television Sunday, November 25, at 7 p.m. ET. Hogfather is a depiction—a deliriously twisted depiction—on the holidays. It is comes from Terry Pratchett's imagination, a best-selling novelist.
