Cassandra"s Dream, set in contemporary London, is a compelling and stimulating story about how far one would go to have a better life. This question of morality, one each of us will face at least once in our lives, is portrayed beautifully by Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell.
In Cassandra's Dream, these two brothers are faced with a decision—to do the unthinkable in the hopes that their life would take a turn for the better, but instead are faced with a new reality.
The film is
quite an entertaining movie that keeps you guessing until the very end
with its unexpected twist. Ewan McGregor does an amazing job, but
surprisingly Colin Ferrell steals most of the scenes with his portrayal
of genuine vulnerability that comes off the screen and touches you as a
human being. Even in the scenes where his character is not the main
focus, he steals the scene by grabbing the audience with his emotional portrayal.
FINAL ANALYSIS: Cassandra’s Dream is
not a movie for everyone. It is a slow, yet fulfilling, psychological thriller
for thought-provoking film seekers.

I like movies that make you think about the characters after you've left the theatre. I can't wait to see this...well not only because of this review, but I love Colin and Ewan. Hope to see Farrell do more emotional portrayals how you've described them. Thanks
