Samsung Mobile will be launching a virtual "Unsigned Battle of the Bands", giving all those unsigned bands the chance to tap into super-stardom!

The bands that sign up will compete for a spot on the Rockstar Get a Life Tour, headlining with The Used and Straylight Run on college campuses nationwide.

Anyone and everyone can try and win the spot for the Rockstar Get a Life Tour because this is a virtual battle of the bands. The winner will receive, other than new fame and a spot on tour, $7,500 in cash, and much more.

To compete, bands need to create a profile of themselves on the Unsigned Battle of the Bands web gallery. Things to include in the profile would be band name, bios on the members, photos and MP3s of songs.

When a band signs up, they will get access to a promotional toolkit featuring a poster template, a fan e-mail template and a CD label template to help them with their careers. The band that wins will post video, pictures and blogs from the road.

This is where the fans come in. Go to http://www.samsungunsigned.com and vote for your favorites, and help to decide which band will get the opportunity of a lifetime. For those that vote, you have a chance of winning $5,000 cash and a trip to see the Get a Life Tour in the city of your choice and other instant-win prizes.

Bands have the chance to register now through March 2, but fans can vote starting January 25, so keep that in mind and try to submit as early as possible to get in even more votes!
