 Remember when all the credits used to happen before a film started? 101 Dalmatians takes people back to how movies used to be made. This classic Disney movie has drawn in people of all ages for generations. Now comes 101 Dalmatians: 2-Disc Platinum Edition, digitally restored with enhanced picture and sound, making this film even brighter and more resilient than before.
The story depicts two dogs, Pongo and Perdita, along with their pets Roger and Anita. Evil and cruel Cruella DeVil steals Pongo and Perdita's fifteen puppies, wanting to make fur coats out of them. Pongo and Perdita race to rescue their children from the devil-woman Cruella, wanting to get home safely on Christmas Eve back to Roger and Anita. Special Features:Disc One
The trivia facts should be viewed after watching the movie. The settings are On or Off. If the settings are on, the film will play and interesting facts about the film pop up throughout the movie. This can be distracting if you want to read the facts and watch the film at the same time, but the young ones probably won't care in the least. Disc Two
Each section on Disc Two has many fun things to watch, as well as interactive games for the young ones. Children can even go online with the second disc, put it in and adopt a Dalmatian of their very own! Critique: The puppies remind me so much of children; they are personified well in this film, and anyone who watches feels empathy for the situation Pongo and Perdita find themselves in. The flow of the film is so easy to understand, and people of all ages like and appreciate 101 Dalmatians. The memories of when I was young came back to mind, and how much I enjoyed such simple movies.This movie is definitely worth getting, if not just for the film itself but for everything that comes along with it. Everyone will enjoy the games and activities that come as a bonus to 101 Dalmatians: 2-Disc Platinum Edition. This movie will be loved for generations.
