There are so many sub-categories and slashes in the music industry, it can be very hard to catch up. And who can keep it all straight, really? But former dubstep producer-turned ‘French House/Nu-Disco’ DJ Viceroy knows what he’s all about. So does the blogosphere. In fact, he is now finding himself on top of the electronic charts at the Hype Machine. With his perfectly tuned remix of Duck Sauce’s (Armand Van Helden/A-Trak) forthcoming single “Goody Two Shoes”, Viceroy is also finding himself featured on nearly every blog in existence including the famed Dödselectro and Gotta Dance Dirty.

The Boardwalk starts off with the sounds of the ocean and playing children in the original mix of Homeboi & OHYEAH’s “CoteD’Azur”, setting us up for a blaze through every summer House party in existence featuring some really great contributions from fellow DJs that culminates in a pretty low-key edit of Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You” by Potions.
Rumor has it Viceroy is in talks planning a fall tour. Shows with Designer Drugs and Black Matter are already booked. We’ll have some dates for you when we get them. In the mean and in-between, go download The Boardwalk, put on your shades and have some summer fun.
