“Emergence,” the new character-driven genre thriller centers on Jo (Allison Tolman), a police chief, who takes in a young child, Piper (Alexa Swinton). Found near the site of a mysterious accident, Piper has no memory of what has happened or who she is. What follows are some roundtables with cast and creators:
The investigation into events that led up to the accident — and questions as to how and why it happened — draws Jo into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined, with Piper’s identity at the center of it.
Other cast include Owain Yeoman, Ashley Aufderheide, Robert Bailey Jr., Zabryna Guevara co-star along with Donald Faison and Clancy Brown.
Emergence reunites executive producers Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, and director Paul McGuigan. The pilot, written by Fazekas and Butters and directed by McGuigan, went to series at ABC.
