Silent House, a Disturbing Drama
What starts out as a horror flick turns into a terror mind-bender in the movie Silent House. Not a very good script and a bit too sophisticated for most fans of the genres, there’s little doubt that it will not last at the box office.
John Carter, a Thrilling Sci-Fi Adventure
Technically John Carter shines as one of the better films I’ve seen in a couple of years. The CGI, make-up, puppetry, mixed with fine live action characterization alone is worth the watch. Melding all this technology with the amazing fantasy story by Edgar Rice Burroughs and you have an excellent movie going experience. Much like the film Avatar you don’t have to be a science fiction enthusiast to enjoy the adventure and fantasy.
Friends With Kids, a Fun Romantic Comedy
It’s cute, fun loving and complicated, yes Friends With Kids has all the markings of a chick flick. Yet for men the film does play well to couples, so gals grab a fine guy and drag him to see this funny little romantic comedy.

PROJECT X, Wild and Crazy
No doubt about it Project X will go viral to the teen/twenties and drive up the box office into the $40 million plus range. Crammed with sight gags, crude language, dangerous stunts, bare breasts, sexual romps, drunken fights, drugged-out stupors, a badass little person that delivers some bruising groin shots and more, this film doesn’t hold back a thing. Project X even comes with a warning to parents and police.
Todd & the Book of Pure Evil, Rocks the House
You don’t have to be a mature teen to enjoy Todd & The Book Of Pure Evil a wild blood festival, but that’s the mighty demographic that will eat this awesome series up. Pushing all the modern social lifestyle buttons that amps up today’s High School crowd the 13 episode series has finally arrived on DVD. Adults who like horror/comedy and don’t get grossed out too easily should have a good time with it; I know I did.
