Central Florida Film Critics Choose “Sinners” Best Picture

The large voting base of writers in The Critics Association of Central Florida have selected Sinners as best film for 2025. The Association is made up of film reviewers from many outlets/platforms including internet, magazines, YouTube, print publications, podcasts, independent writers, TV, and Radio with opinions that will help readers decide on what films to watch.

This year’s releases have had a limited number of standouts. Those rising to the top received points for content, performances and quality with the movie Sinners getting first place and besting in most all categories. The exciting film targeted for adults, also took runner-up in many categories. Filled with excitement and leaning toward the horror genre, winning Director Ryan Coogler put together wins with a captivating storyline, cast, characteristic musical score, costumes and production to take the highest honor.
