Cloud Control Releases New Track Dojo Rising from Dream Cave

Cloud Control, Dojo Rising

Aussie-turned-British band Sound Cloud released the track “Dojo Rising” from their upcoming sophomore album, Dream Cave today. You can check out this mellow, trance-like melody in the sound clip above.

Alister Wright, Heidi Lenffer, Ulrich Lenffer and Jeremy Kelshaw make up the dreamy Sound Cloud, and their music mimics their name in this latest offering. It’s like being afloat on a puff in the sky whilst serenely drifting with the slow, lyrical beat.

Dream Cave follows its predecessor Bliss Release, which won the Australian Music Prize, the antipodean equivalent of the Mercury Prize. This time around they opted out of recording the album in Jeremy’s parent’s living room however, and instead chose to kick it up a notch by bringing this masterful creation to life by escaping to the Kent countryside with producer and mix engineer Barny Barnicott (credits include work with Arctic Monkeys, Plan B, Peace and Franz Ferdinand).

The band is getting ready for the CMJ this year, as well as a full tour with dates to be announced shortly. Until then, you can enjoy the new single off of their upcoming Dream Cave album. Keep an eye out for more between now and the album’s official release on Votiv September 17, 2013.
