The first major update to Snapchat’s Discover just rolled out. It now allows you to select an item to share by tapping and holding on an image, video or article when in the Discover section. Unfortunately, the app will only capture a screenshot of the portion of text you’re currently viewing, not the entire post.
Of course, after that you can add text or draw on images, just like you would with any other message in Snapchat.

Like other messages, you can comment and draw on items sent from the Discover tab.
Discover includes articles and videos from brands like ESPN, the Food Network and CNN. It changes on a regular basis, but doesn’t link back to the publishers’ main site. Recently, there have been reports suggesting the engagement on this platform are declining from current users.
Making Discover’s video clips, photos and articles shareable within Snapchat could help introduce the content to new users or bring back those who stopped checking the publishers’ updates.
The update also added the ability to zoom while recording videos within Snapchat. You can now swipe right while recording to zoom in, and swipe left to zoom out.
