Fun Loving “Puppy Dog Pals: Season One”

Cute and charming the fun loving Puppy Dog Pals: Season One has come to DVD with adventures for youngsters. The Disney Junior TV animated show features some good family values, important lessons and themes that expand the imagination. It is family oriented, but the target audience ranges from tykes to pre-teens. The stars are two Pugs that are cuddly and courageous with a feline that finds herself on her toes most of the time.

The storyline features the energetic Rolly and his pal Bingo two Pugs that live with Bob an inventor. Hissy the cat lives in the house and the two Pugs love her as a friend. However, Hissy has a mind of her own and tries to stay out of the way of the two rollicking pups as much as she can. The well-meaning Rolly and Bingo find themselves in situations that lead to adventures that take them to places that are informative and educational, even though they sometimes get them into trouble. But all is well that ends well.

The episodes include “Hawaii Pug-Oh”, “A.R.F”, “The French Toast Connection”. “Take me Out to the Pug Game”, “A Pyramid Scheme”, “Special Delivery”, “The Go-Long Retriever”, “Pot O’ Pugs”, “Design-A-Dog”, “Ice, Ice Puggy”, “Hissy’s Big Day”, and “Go, Dog, Go!”, There are no commercials and if you press PLAY ALL, they run in tandem through to the last adventure.

Puppy Dog Pals: Season One has been rated TV-Y for the whole family. Most of the wrong doings by the boys get righted and the situations they get into get resolved. I do like the animation that keeps the dogs soft and cuddly on the screen.

FINAL ANALYSIS: A fun packed adventure series. (for kids 4 our of 5 Stars)
