If you are anything like me, you probably sport a mundane, black elastic hair band around your wrist for those moments when you randomly need to put your hair up or get it out of your face. Not exactly a very stylish look. I have great news though — I found a way to have both fashion and function!
With spring and summer on the way, it is even more important to have a quick and easy way to tie up your tresses. But what happens when you’re going out and you want to look trendy? Having a hair band around your wrist doesn’t exactly scream fashionista.
Recently I happened upon By Lilla. And I have to say … I am in LOVE with their trendy, stackable bracelets / hair bands.
I have a few of By Lilla’s “stack” and “word” packs. And they really do look like you are wearing bracelets. The best thing is, I can mix and match my stash to go with whatever I am wearing. I can even assemble a stack for a nice evening out. It’s the best of both worlds.
Some pieces in the By Lilla stack are more flexible than others. And some are more suitable for twisting your hair up than others. I find the braided bands are more for wrist wear than hair wear. Interestingly however, the bands with all the bits and baubles on them work fine for tying your hair back. At first I thought my hair might get caught between the different moving pieces, but I was pleasantly surprised to find they didn’t pull my hair at all.
I have a bunch of different colors to mix and match. They have many different combinations that will go with any outfit, mood or occasion. This is even greater for me, because I like to have limitless possibilities to go with my many, many personalities. Hah!
While some might find there are a few stack combos that seem a little on the pricey side, you have to consider you are getting fashion and function with both a set of bracelets and usable hair bands in one.
